Real Family Life 90 Day Marriage Devo Su

A Sample Devotional:

Fight Apathy

Dennis: Do you know what your spouse would consider a great, romantic evening?

Woman: I still think of a quiet intimate evening out at dinner together alone as very romantic. My husband, probably a little less formal … enjoys being home together, snuggling on the couch, watching TV.

Dennis: It sounds to me like she needs to find some time to snuggle with her husband on the couch. And he needs to plan a formal dinner out with his wife.

When's the last time you went out of your way to show your mate how much you love them? We all have a tendency to let apathy set in, robbing us of romance in marriage. You can fight apathy in two easy steps. First, consider what your spouse considers romantic.

Second, act on what you learn. Take time to plan some creative romance, based upon what makes your spouse happy. Do the activity that will most likely capture your mate's attention.

One final thought. Why don't you do a little research. What could you do to delight your spouse? Once you discover it, why don't you make some plans and surprise them with how romantic you can be.

I'm Dennis Rainey, and that's Real romantic Family Life.
